Brooks

Brooks

Brooks has been in care since winter and has been doing great in his foster home, so we are updating his profile😊

Brooks is a very sweet, snuggly boy. He can be a little shy in new situations or meeting new people so he's working on gaining more confidence. He's gentle when taking treats and hasn't shown any signs of food aggression.
Brooks is an energetic fellow, so he would flourish with an active family. He's been great with the kids he's met and he's really good in the car, even on long rides so he would be great to go on any adventures with his family. He's even been great on his Foster Families boat!
Brooks needs continued work meeting dogs, especially on leash. So he would need someone willing to continue working with him. He's had a few training sessions with Paige from 896 Dog Training and there has been noticeable improvement❤️ Unfortunately a few weeks ago he injured his back left leg and hasn’t been allowed to go for walks so he can heal, so he should be able to get back at his training and walks soon.
Brooks is very intelligent and a quick learner, with some work, commitment and time he will learn to not react to dogs on his walks.
If you are looking for a loving, active, fun Husky to be part of your family we would love for you to meet our handsome blue eyed beauty Brooks❤️
