One part tasty campfire treat, another part land seal, Toasty is here to warm your heart!
Toasty is a super sweet retriever mix who is exactly the colour of a perfectly roasted marshmallow. We agree that he was “cooked” for the ideal amount of time, just long enough to make a great dog!
Toasty LOVES the kids in his foster home, even waiting expectantly for them at the bus stop. He also gets along well with most dogs, and cats as well.
Toasty enjoys car rides and just hanging out in his foster home. He is housetrained and cuddles up for a nap in his crate with the door open. He doesn’t cause any trouble when left loose, except for chewing the occasional shoe (we all have our weaknesses). Toasty walks well on leash, and appreciates his daily constitutional.
Toasty’s foster mom gives him 2 thumbs up, and she doesn’t give that out to just anyone. She has fostered and owned a multitude of dogs, all at the same time, knows all about dogs and even founded the rescue. So you know he’s an exceptional kind of guy.
We think it’s fair to say that if you adopt Toasty, you’ll be getting s’more than you could ever ask for!
